Senior Java Developer (United Kingdom)

The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Senior Java Developer.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Java development
Strong understanding of Java 11 and Spring Boot
Experience with microservices architecture and Spring Cloud
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with domain-driven design and test-driven design
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

Will Be a plus:

Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, ArgoCD or CircleCI
Experience with agile development methodologies

Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable and maintainable Java applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot
Implement microservices architecture using Spring Cloud and related technologies
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters
Apply domain-driven design principles to ensure the software architecture aligns with the business domain
Implement test-driven design to ensure code quality and maintainability
Collaborate with DevOps and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
Mentor and guide junior developers
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in Java development, cloud computing, DDD, and TDD
