Head of HR
The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Head of HR.
Role Purpose:
To build an effective, structured, and transparent HR function within the company — from operational processes to managerial support and employer brand development. The goal is to create an HR environment that supports company culture, ensures high-quality collaboration, and builds a positive reputation both inside and outside the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Oversee the HRIS (Zoho People), ensure data accuracy
- Keep internal policies, procedures, and guidelines up to date
- Administer the employee lifecycle: vacation tracking, onboarding documentation, etc.
Manager Support:
- Promote and support a regular 1:1 meeting culture
- Advise managers on adaptation, retention, and team collaboration
- Provide mentorship in people-related areas: feedback, motivation, development
- Support in complex HR cases (burnout, conflict resolution, etc.)
People Management & Culture:
- Collect feedback, run surveys, and analyze team sentiment
- Monitor and act on risks such as attrition, burnout, and emotional load
- Foster a healthy internal culture and work-life balance
- Organize internal initiatives to increase team engagement
Internal & External Communication:
- Build a transparent internal communication system
- Create HR content (announcements, newsletters, updates) in collaboration with PR/Marketing
- Develop guidelines and templates for HR communications
Instagram / PR / Employer Branding:
- Generate ideas and content for HR topics on social media
- Support and contribute to the company’s Instagram presence in cooperation with the design team
- Take part in external PR efforts (events, articles, partnerships with IT clusters/associations)
- Prepare content for blogs, events, and external digests
Online Events & Internal Engagement:
- Organize online team events (Q&A, webinars, team-building activities)
- Promote a remote-friendly culture through engaging events
- Create scripts for celebrations, internal events, greetings
Merch & Corporate Identity:
- Develop and coordinate merch ideas (welcome kits, thank-you packs, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers and vendors
- Plan and manage the HR budget for these initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager / Head of HR in a company of 150+ employees (experience in outsourcing or outstaffing companies is a strong advantage)
- English level — B2 and above
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, onboarding, and manager support
- Experience with implementation or administration of HR systems (Zoho, HiBob, PeopleForce)
- Practical experience in internal communications and event organization
- Understanding of employer branding, ability to work with content
- Systemic thinking, organizational skills, and proactiveness
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels
