Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Data Engineer.
Are you passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights? We’re looking for a Data Engineer with expertise in Advanced SQL and procedural practices to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and datasets, as well as performing root cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
• Advanced SQL and procedural practices;
• Building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets;
• Performing root cause analysis on internal/external data, identifying improvement opportunities;
• Relational databases (MS SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Dynamo DB, etc);
• AWS cloud services and data pipelines;
• Sourcing and modeling data from REST APIs;
• Data visualization systems like ELK, Tableau etc;
• Object-oriented scripting languages (Python, Scala);
• Graph database platforms such as Neo4j.
Responsibilities:
• Development of event driven data pipelines and supporting REST API’s using Java / Python or similar languages and event/message frameworks and enterprise service bus architectures;
• Development operations in the data engineering space (Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines);
• Must be able to think outside of the box, enjoy being challenged to grow your skills, and not be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone;
• Experienced with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, Lean, SAFe) and tools such as Jira;
• Experience with Graph database architecture.
