Middle/Senior Power BI Engineer

Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating and optimizing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders;
- Skills in Excel for data manipulation, advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), and integration with Power BI for seamless data sourcing and transformation;
- Practice using Microsoft Forms to collect data and connect responses to Power BI for real-time feedback and insights from end-users;
- Familiarity with connecting Power BI to Azure data sources (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake) and managing data flows to pull in data securely and efficiently;
- Competency in integrating Power BI with AWS data sources (e.g., Amazon RDS, Redshift) using direct connections or APIs to provide a unified data view across platforms;
- Proficiency in data modeling, including knowledge of DAX for creating calculated measures, KPIs, and handling complex business logic within Power BI;
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, utilizing Power Query and Power BI’s data transformation tools to prepare data for reporting;
- Сommunication skills to work with business units to understand requirements, provide insights, and develop solutions that meet both technical and business needs;
- Knowledge of best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance, especially when working with sensitive data across AWS and Azure environments;
- Ability to design, implement, and manage workflows using Power Automate to automate data processes, alert systems, and report distribution, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI report solutions;
- Сreate new Power BI dashboards;
- Сreate dashboards for mobile view;
- Write and execute queries upon request for data;
- Test products for accuracy prior to deployment;
- Continuously improve performance and reliability of reports;
- Recommend additional options for reporting and analytics.
