Senior DevOps Engineer

The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is... Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Requirements:

BS in computer science / Engineering field or 3+ years in related job;
Experience with AWS or similar services (Azure, Google Cloud…);
Experience with web service API standards, test-driven development, and microservice
architecture;
Excellent debugging and optimization skills;
Experience with ELK, Splunk or similar;
Familiar with Agile project management methodologies;
Experience with a scripting language like bash, ruby, python or node;
Familiar with Continuous Delivery methods and working in a DevOps environment.

Will be a plus:

Proficiency in Linux server administration;
Experience scaling MySQL and MongoDB;
Experience deploying and supporting high-traffic applications;
Experience with Deis, Rancher or similar;
CoreOS, Mesosphere or similar Linux container OS;
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools;
Experience and working knowledge of Node.js;
Experience with Redis;
Experience with RMQ.

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing;
Analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems will be securely integrated with current applications;
Has a deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS);
Designing a scalable architecture on AWS using a container cluster management platform;
Configuration management and continuous integration and deployment.
