Senior Embedded Developer

The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Senior Embedded Developer.
About the project:
The main aim of this project is to utilize i.MX/Intel security best practices to the new devices (Intel NUC), migrate to newer Yocto Distribution (Dunfell) for Control System project and keep BSP up-to-date (Yocto system, Kernel, etc update via FOTA)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules;
- Manage Yocto environment including new software packages, bug & vulnerability repair and back-portinq;
- Develop and maintain Linux kernel modules;
- Develop and maintain Linux based applications and services;
- Support other members of the Embedded Linux team who utilize the Yocto environment;
- Supporting the Dunfel and Angstrom Yocto distributions;
- Integrating new devices seamlessly into the build system;
- Migrate to common build system for different project;
- Create and support Jenkins jobs for different devices that are based on Yocto.
Requirements:
- 5+ year’s experience in C/С++ embedded software development;
- Experience with YOCTO build system;
- Strong C/C++ knowledge;
- Experience in Linux kernel and user space development;
- Upper intermediate English.
Will be a plus:
- Python knowledge;
- Experience with audio/video streaming solutions;
- Experience with IMX8, STM32MP1, TI Sitara processors;
- MCU programming (FreeRTOS).
