Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies
- Solid background in JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern development practices
- Proficiency in Node.js, including hands-on experience with backend application development
- Knowledge of Node.js frameworks, such as Express or NestJS, and the ability to choose and apply them effectively based on project needs
- Experience working with MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and integration
- Familiarity with engineering best practices, including version control (Git), code quality standards, code reviews, and automated testing
- Comfortable working within an Agile (SCRUM) development environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team
Nice to Have
- Experience with Angular, including component-based architecture and modern front-end practices

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the back-end functionality of an active production project using Node.js and related technologies
- Implement new features, resolve bugs, participate in code refactoring, write unit tests, and contribute to project documentation
- Collaborate with the customer via Confluence, Atlassian tools, and regular voice meetings to clarify requirements and align on goals
- Proactively work on upskilling, exploring new tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to the project
- Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and a balance between strategic thinking and tactical execution in day-to-day tasks
- Contribute to a positive and energetic team environment, sharing knowledge and driving improvements continuously
