About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for our cutting-edge Insurtech products. As the Product Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our insurtech products in the market. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing a sales team, and fostering relationships with clients to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to promote and sell our insurtech products in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Market Research: Continuously monitor industry trends and customer needs, providing feedback to the product development team for product improvement.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to enhance their insurtech experience.
- Revenue Generation: Set and achieve revenue targets, track sales metrics, and implement strategies to maximize revenue growth.
- Sales Collateral: Develop and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and materials to support the sales team’s efforts.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities are tracked and managed effectively, from prospecting to closure.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team, outlining performance, key metrics, and future strategies.
- Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of competitor products and strategies and adapt the sales approach accordingly.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product development, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure a unified approach and exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Sales Representative for 5+ years;
- Industry experience in Insure Tech is highly desired;
- Strong negotiation and closing skills;
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships with key partners;
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to travel as needed for business development;
- Solid English proficiency.
