Technical Product Manager

The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need aTechnical Product Manager.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in network engineering or technical product management;
Excellent knowledge of Cisco/Meraki, Voice & Video (MS Teams, Poly etc.), Security (Fortinet, ZScaler);
Experience in a global IT project environment, especially with solution design & DTX standards;
Certifications: Prince2 or comparable, ITIL Foundation;
Analytical thinking, strong communication & coordination skills;
Conversation level of English, German an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing and approving site designs and hardware orders;
Request for quotations & coordination with site specialists;
Tracking of hardware deliveries & management of serial numbers;
Ordering maintenance contracts and subscriptions (e.g. Smartnet);
Support lifecycle and infrastructure projects;
Maintenance & further development of internal network standards.

Area of responsibility:

Strategic interface between network engineering, IT and business departments;
Management of product development in the area of network and security technologies;
Responsible for the coordination of technical requirements, planning and prioritization;
Communication of product strategy, roadmap and risks to stakeholders;
Continuous optimization of processes – internally & with external partners;
Contribute to the technical development of global network standards and products.
