Inbound Content Specialist

The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is... Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Content Specialist.

About the role

CHI Software is an 800+ engineer software company with clients including H&M, Vodafone, Blackstone, and TELUS. We have a strong outbound machine — and now we’re building inbound from scratch.
We’re looking for someone who can write, publish, and distribute content that brings qualified B2B leads to our website. Not just pageviews — pipeline. You’ll own the editorial calendar, publish directly on the site, manage our SEO agency, and use AI tools to move fast without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities:

Content

  • Write SEO-optimized articles, landing pages, and bottom-of-funnel content (comparison pages, vendor guides) targeting CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Product
  • Publish on the website via CMS and on external platforms: Medium, dev.to, Hackernoon

SEO & agency management

  • Own keyword research and content planning aligned to ICP pain points
  • Manage our external SEO agency: briefs, quality review, tracking positions and organic traffic
  • Monitor Google Search Console and report monthly on traffic and content-sourced leads

AI-assisted production

  • Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Surfer) to accelerate production
  • Build repeatable content workflows the team can scale

Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years writing B2B content in English — tech, IT services, SaaS, or software development topics
  • Solid SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, metadata — you do this without being asked
  • Comfortable publishing via CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or similar): formatting, images, slugs, redirects
  • Experience managing or briefing external content vendors or SEO agencies
  • Actively uses AI tools in daily work — not just aware of them, but has built a workflow around them
  • Structured thinker who connects content topics to business goals, not just editorial ideas

Nice to have:

  • Experience writing for IT outsourcing, staff augmentation, or custom software development
  • Published independently on Medium, Hackernoon, dev.to, or similar platforms
  • Basic HTML — enough to fix formatting issues without involving a developer
  • Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, or Google Search Console
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM — knowing what a lead source report looks like
  • Understanding of B2B sales cycles and how content supports pipeline at each stage
