Tenders/Bid Manager

The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Tenders/Bid Manager.
CHI Software is looking for a specialist who will drive the development and conversion of client acquisition channels through tenders and online project-sourcing platforms.
The role involves the full cycle of working with opportunities – from search and analysis to proposal preparation and deal closure support.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and identifying relevant tenders (international and Ukrainian markets)
- Analyzing requirements (RFP/RFQ) and making go/no-go decisions
- Preparing and coordinating tender submissions
- Collaborating with delivery, presales, and sales teams

Working with online platforms for project acquisition (including Upwork, Toptal, Ework and others):
- sourcing and qualifying opportunities
- preparing proposals
- communicating with clients
- participating in calls
- Lead qualification and value proposition development
- Managing pipeline in CRM
- Adapting case studies, CVs, and presentation materials to client requirements
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in tenders / bid management
- Experience preparing commercial proposals and RFP/RFQ responses
- Understanding of the IT services market and engagement models
- Ability to analyze requirements and make well-grounded decisions
- Strong written and spoken English skills
- Ability to structure information and prepare high-quality proposals
- Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
- Strong communication skills (client-facing and internal)
- High level of ownership and results orientation
Nice to have:
- Experience with online project-sourcing platforms (Upwork, Toptal, Ework, or similar)
- Experience with procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Mercell, Jaggaer)
- Experience managing the full platform lifecycle (sourcing → proposal → deal)
- Involvement in presale and discovery activities
