Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake & AWS)
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data team working on scalable cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics solutions. This role combines hands-on data engineering, production support, cloud infrastructure, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.
Role Overview
Beyond strong technical expertise, we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative team while also being comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership, and is naturally curious — someone who enjoys learning, improving systems, and staying engaged with their work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models in Snowflake
- Ensure data reliability, quality, and performance across multiple workflows
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize performance
- Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and other stakeholders to support business needs
- Take ownership of deployment and operation of data pipelines, including CI/CD processes and releases
- Maintain stability and performance of production data workflows
- Contribute to automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data platforms
- Support environment management and ensure smooth production operations
- Participate in improving engineering standards and development practices
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Commercial experience in Data Engineering and building data warehouses/pipelines
- Strong practical experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment workflows
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices
- Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud tooling such as Terraform or Docker
- Experience supporting production-grade data environments
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English

- Experience in the Pharma domain
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
