Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake & AWS)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a growing data team working on scalable cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics solutions. This role combines hands-on data engineering, production support, cloud infrastructure, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate is proactive, takes ownership, and is naturally curious — someone who enjoys learning, improving systems, and staying engaged with their work.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models in Snowflake
Ensure data reliability, quality, and performance across multiple workflows
Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize performance
Collaborate closely with Data Analysts, BI Developers, and other stakeholders to support business needs
Take ownership of deployment and operation of data pipelines, including CI/CD processes and releases
Maintain stability and performance of production data workflows
Contribute to automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data platforms
Support environment management and ensure smooth production operations
Participate in improving engineering standards and development practices

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
Commercial experience in Data Engineering and building data warehouses/pipelines
Strong practical experience with AWS cloud services
Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes
Good understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment workflows
Experience with Git and modern software development practices
Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud tooling such as Terraform or Docker
Experience supporting production-grade data environments
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

Experience in the Pharma domain
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices
