The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a Senior Java Developer (EU)

About Project:

The project is focused on transforming their core trading architecture, centralizing processing systems, updating legacy solutions, and introducing robust operational controls to reduce risks and boost workflow efficiency.

Due to the launch of new sub-projects, we are expanding the team and looking for strong Senior Java Engineers to drive this high-impact transformation.

Requirements:

Deep commercial experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
Strong knowledge of modern backend architecture and hands-on experience building distributed, event-driven microservices.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex, business-critical systems in an Agile environment.
English: Upper-Intermediate
Readiness for occasional business trips.

Will be a plus:

Background in Financial Services / Capital Markets or low-latency, mission-critical systems.
Basic Front-End experience with React.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude).

Responsibility:

-Design and implement scalable, distributed microservices for complex, business-critical trading platforms.
Develop high-throughput, event-driven backend components using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
Help centralize processing workflows and update legacy components into modern backend architectures.
Take full ownership of deliverables, write clean, maintainable code, and participate in Agile engineering practices.
