Senior Data Analyst (Krakow, hybrid)

CHI Software is a global software development services provider delivering AI-driven solutions, cloud services, data engineering across EdTech, FinTech and HealthTech. We help businesses modernize, scale and unlock new value through the latest technologies.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Krakow, hybrid)

Our client’s Strategic Initiatives team receives specific questions from C-level leadership and has to form a well-grounded point of view quickly. To support this, we are building a new team of 2 Data Analysts and 2 Business Analysts, and we are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who enjoys working with data directly, not just managing others who do.

For example, the client currently runs IT change and risk remediation programmes separately, and leadership may ask how the two should work together. Your job is to bring the facts that help answer questions like this.

What you will do

  • Help set up and run an analytic sandbox, connecting it to core sources such as ERP and MI data warehouses one use case at a time.
  • Define the data baseline for each initiative, so the whole team works from the same numbers.
  • Answer incoming questions using existing queries or by writing new ones, and keep new queries saved for reuse.
  • Join live war-room sessions with the client and bring the data needed to shape and prioritise hypotheses.
  • Test hypotheses with additional data and clearly explain what the evidence shows.
  • Contribute accurate analysis and clear visuals to the final findings.

What you bring

  • 10–15 years of relevant experience with a strong record of hands-on delivery.
  • Solid data analysis skills: querying, joining and cleaning data from enterprise systems.
  • Experience with ERP and MI data warehouse data, including budgets, forecasts and spend.
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear insights for senior, non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to quality: you validate your results and keep your queries documented and reusable.

Who will succeed in this role

  • Someone who is happy doing the analysis themselves, not only leading people.
  • Someone who feels confident and credible working with C-level stakeholders.
  • A fast learner who takes direct, candid feedback well.
  • Someone who can work at pace without compromising quality.
  • A collaborative team player who is comfortable working openly with the client in a war-room setting.

Work format and requirements
